Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated with gadgets. Gadgets are devices that make people’s lives more convenient, such as cameras, smartphones, and smartwatches. Whenever I see such convenient items, even if they are expensive, I end up buying them. When I don’t have money, I even borrow from friends to buy what I like.
Since I’m crazy about gadgets, my dream was to work for a gadget company. Now, as I am working part-time at a car company, I felt like my dream had really come true. This is because I drive cool cars every day and take pictures with cool smartphones. But even though my dream came true, on reflection, I seem to have done various bad things. For example, I always buy what I like as soon as I see it. I always buy things I like and have ended up with no savings. I am still a student, not a full-time employee. But I got too excited about working at a good company and made mistakes. Savings are very important for international students.
