I had planned to go to Japan since my second year of university. So, I studied Japanese in my fourth year of university and came to Japan for further studies after graduation. Before studying abroad, my family and friends told me to ‘do my best’.
The first month after arriving in Japan, I was confused because I didn’t know the way and where to find convenience stores, department stores, and cheap shops. For about two months, I worked night shifts at a Japanese factory. It was very tiring. After about three months, I got used to the night shifts at the factory. The Japanese people I met at work were kind and told me ‘Don’t worry, it’s okay’ even when I made mistakes, which was enjoyable.
I quit the factory job and started working at a convenience store. There, I sometimes got scolded by customers, which was sad. I hated getting up at 5 am to go to work. But with the money from my part-time job, I could buy anime figures for myself. That made me happy.
After a year, I got used to life in Japan, but there are still many things I don’t know. The most enjoyable thing about my current life in Japan is learning Japanese people’s thoughts and attitudes while working with them at my part-time job. The thing I don’t like now is that daily life is busy. My life at the Japanese language school is enjoyable, with kind teachers, friendly friends from various countries, and fun studies.
After graduating from the language school, I will study business. Sometimes I get so tired that I feel sleepy in class while studying.
Life in Japan is busy and challenging, but there are also many good things, so I recommend everyone to come to Japan and study abroad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Before coming to Japan, I studied biology at a university in Myanmar and then studied Japanese.
