Right now, I am contemplating what to do for my future. I’ve decided to attend an IT vocational school. I have an interview on October 30th, and I’m nervous about it. I’m working hard to pass.
Currently, I am in Japan, studying Japanese while working part-time. It is very challenging. Although I’m striving for my future, sometimes I feel down. If things don\u2019t go as planned, please, at 40, don\u2019t regret anything. My way of thinking now might be slightly different from yours. Even if I fail, please don’t get angry, but support me. Think of the 29-year-old me as someone who tried her best. Where are you and what are you doing now as you read this letter?
I plan to study IT for two years at a computer vocational school and then work in Japan as a systems engineer. I will persevere and not give up despite various difficulties.
I have a request for you. I haven\u2019t spent much time with my family so far. So, please, at 40, stay close to your family. I want you to take care of our parents.
I am currently working hard for my dreams and money so that I can relax and take it easy when I reach 40. I love traveling abroad. I want to visit Switzerland and Korea. Someday, I definitely plan to go there. I want to experience the cultural differences and the scenery. If you haven’t traveled abroad by 40, you must go. Even if you face some failures in what you’ve decided, what you want to do, or what you are studying hard for, please don’t be disappointed and be confident. That is the most important thing I want to tell you. Keep your goals and work hard until the end. This is what I want to say to the 40-year-old me.
