Since I was a child, you’ve always supported whatever I decided to do. When I said I wanted to go to Japan, you said it was okay, but I could tell you were worried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I first came to Japan, I had a hard time because I couldn’t communicate in Japanese. During those days, sharing our joys and sorrows on Facebook every night helped me overcome the hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But as I got used to life in Japan, I found less time to talk with you. You must have been checking my Facebook shares to keep up with my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mom, I have friends and colleagues here who help me whenever I’m in trouble. I face challenges at work and in my studies, but I’m okay. I can get through them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Studying in Japan has helped me grow and adapt to this vast society. So please, don’t worry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You always wait for my call, but you never call me. I used to think you didn’t call because you didn’t love me, but Dad told me you’re afraid of bothering me since you don’t know when I’m free or on break. I understand your true feelings now. I’m sorry for sometimes forgetting to contact you when I’m out with friends and worrying you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know the best gift for you is to be with you, but I’m not sure if I can return home before enrolling in vocational school. I’m sorry and I miss you too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s almost two years since I left home for Japan. I always remember our family, the meals you cooked, the trees, and flowers near our house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m working hard in Japan. I want to get a job, save money, and buy you a house, but I’m not sure when I can do that. However, I’ll keep trying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
