Hello, myself in five years.
Today, I listened to a song called “Song of the Future.” It’s my favorite Japanese song. I’m thinking about my future, so today, I’m writing a letter to my future self.
What will I be doing in five years? Will I continue studying? Will I be working at a company? Will I be leading a stable life? Will there be various challenges? By that time, will I be married? Will I have children? Right now, I feel like I don’t want to get married. I don’t believe in love, but will it affect my future self in five years?
I’m 24 years old now. Myself in five years will be 29. Maybe by then, I will have become a grandmother. Right now, I’m still studying. I’m living independently and solving all the difficulties of life on my own. People my age are probably working. My Vietnamese friends are married and have children, leading stable lives.
In five years, will I have achieved my dreams? Every human being has dreams. Even if something happens, I can’t let them go. I have to work hard every day for my dreams.
What about my family in five years? Are my parents still healthy? Do my younger siblings have jobs? I hope everyone stays healthy.
