Since middle school, I had always thought about going abroad someday. I hadn’t decided where to go, but when my boyfriend went to Japan, I also decided to go to Japan. To go to Japan, I received various advice from people who had been to Japan before. For example, they told me that even if you can speak what you want to say in Japanese, it’s troublesome if you don’t understand what the Japanese people are saying.
So, I started looking for Japanese language classes ahead of time. The teacher of the Japanese language class was from Sri Lanka, but he was a very good teacher. To come to Japan, I had to pass a certain exam, so after studying hard for three months, I took the JLPT exam in December 2015. I did well, so I received the highest score in the class. I was very happy. Next, in March, I prepared the necessary documents to come to Japan. Thanks to that, I was able to come to Japan.
I am currently studying Japanese. I plan to enter a tourism vocational school next year. I intend to work in a Japanese tourism company for about two years. After four years, I plan to save as much money as possible and return to my country.
