Graduate Essay

To my beloved Ryo,

How are you doing, Ryo? Do you remember me? I always think of you and everyone from our previous class. Time flies so fast. It’s been 11 months since we graduated. How’s your new class? Have you gotten used to it? Made any new friends? Are the teachers kind or strict? I want to talk about my new class. On the first day, I was so nervous as I went to school. I wasn’t worried about the teachers, but about what kind of classmates I would have. I didn’t know much about what we would study, but I heard that my new class was the noisiest in the school. The teachers said that after teaching this class, they often have a headache because it’s too loud. But actually, it was completely different. I really love my current class, and that feeling hasn’t changed. My classmates are younger, smarter, and serious about their studies. Sure, they can be really noisy, but during class, they talk about study-related things. Some people might think it’s bad to talk during class and disrespectful to the teachers. People have different opinions. But I don’t think so. Learning from the teachers at school is important, but discussing with classmates makes problems clearer, so I think it’s also a way of studying. And I don’t think it’s bad to be noisy during breaks. International students have a lot to worry about besides studies, and stress builds up. Chatting with friends can solve some problems. Once a problem is solved, it’s easier to concentrate on studying. What do you think of my current class, Ryo? When you have time, tell me about your new class too. From your best friend, Uto.
