My Teachers
I am currently attending a Japanese language school. The teachers here are kind and teach with enthusiasm. They are also very funny, which makes studying at school every day enjoyable.
There are various characters among the teachers at this school. Mr. Taniwa always says “That’s interesting” with a smile, even when students tell uninteresting stories. He is a very adorable teacher.
Mr. Yoshikawa is a very kind teacher. He explains in detail when we make mistakes in tests or homework. But, when everyone gets noisy during class, he often says “Please don’t talk” in a high voice. Mr. Yoshikawa is a strict yet kind teacher.
Mr. Tajiri is an extremely kind teacher. His voice is very beautiful. After explaining, he often asks, “Everyone, is that okay? Do you understand?” The students remained silent, which seemed to trouble him, but he always praised us by saying “Wonderful,” which made us all happy.
Mr. Hagiwara, when encountering difficult words to teach, often says, “This is troublesome.” However, I think his knowledge is amazing, especially his understanding of vocabulary.
Mr. Oku is a serious teacher. He always teaches earnestly and explains various words and grammar meanings properly. But, he is sometimes strict. If someone uses a mobile phone in class, he says “Please turn off your mobile phone, okay?” in a loud voice. I also think it’s not good to use mobile phones during class, so I can understand Mr. Oku’s feelings.
Lastly, my favorite teacher is Mr. Hatakeyama. He gave me a hat for scoring 100 points in a reading test, which made me very happy. Moreover, Mr. Hatakeyama is a very funny teacher. When students answer questions using strange Japanese, he says, “Do you understand Japanese?” or “That’s not Japanese,” which makes everyone burst into laughter and enjoy a lot. We often talked during breaks about clothes, travel, and food. Mr. Hatakeyama has traveled to Vietnam and said he loves Vietnamese clothes, which made me very happy.
When the teachers travel to Vietnam, I want to recommend delicious food and nice places.
